Il sistema biometrico serve per l’identificare l’utente secondo le caratteristiche fisiche. L’autentificazione dell’utente è un processo a due fasi. Nella prima fase un dispositivo scannerizza i dati personali dell’utente e li registra. Le particolarità dell’utente vengono convertite in un modello e poi salvato come codice di cifre criptato. Nella seconda fase l’utente passa attraverso il dispositivo scanner, il risultato viene confrontato con la data base salvate in precedenza. In questo modo l’utente riceve/non riceve l’accesso, va effettuato pure controllo sul tempo lavorativo, le assenze, la puntualità secondo i tempi stabiliti dal datore di lavoro. Applicabili per aziende dove i manager vorrebbero ricevere diverse informazioni: giornalieri, mensili, annuali; presenze in tempo reale del personale – operai presenti in azienda; informazione sul personale secondo le zone/reparti; informazione sulle ore di lavoro per ciascun operaio; assenze, puntualità, ore di lavoro extra, trasferte, ecc.
